Outbreak Summary
June 17, 2025 – OFT’s Listeria Lawyers are actively monitoring a nationwide Listeria monocytogenes (Lm) outbreak linked to FreshRealm chicken fettuccine alfredo products. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced a recall of these products on June 17, 2025, due to possible contamination.
As of June 17, 2025, the outbreak includes 17 ill people across 13 states. Tragically, there have been three reported deaths and one fetal loss associated with this outbreak. The outbreak strain of Lm was isolated from ill individuals on dates ranging from August 2024 to May 2025. The same outbreak strain was also isolated from a routine sample of chicken fettuccine alfredo collected by FSIS in a FreshRealm establishment in March 2025.
We have represented many people poisoned in Listeria outbreaks and are actively pursuing compensation for those affected. If you or a loved one became sick with a Listeria infection after eating one of these supplemental shakes, please contact us using the form above for a free consultation.
