OFT Law is actively investigating the nationwide Listeria monocytogenes (Lm) outbreak linked to FreshRealm chicken fettuccine alfredo products. If you or a loved one became ill after consuming these products, you may be entitled to compensation through a FreshRealm Listeria lawsuit.

The FreshRealm Listeria Outbreak

On June 17, 2025, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced a recall of FreshRealm chicken fettuccine alfredo products due to possible Listeria contamination. The outbreak has, tragically, led to 17 reported illnesses across 13 states, three deaths, and one fetal loss. The outbreak strain of Lm was isolated from ill individuals between August 2024 and May 2025, and also from a routine FSIS sample of chicken fettuccine alfredo collected at a FreshRealm establishment in March 2025.

Recalled products include MARKETSIDE GRILLED CHICKEN ALFREDO WITH FETTUCCINE (32.8-oz. and 12.3 oz. tray packages) and HOME CHEF Heat & Eat Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo (12.5 oz. tray packages). These products bear USDA establishment numbers “EST. P-50784,” “EST. P-47770,” or “EST. P-47718.” Consumers are advised to check their refrigerators and discard or return any affected products.

  • Pain and suffering: Compensation for physical discomfort, emotional distress, and reduced quality of life.
